The short version
Green Meadows exists to help landscaping crews document their work and hand clients a report worth keeping — not to profit from your data. In plain language: we don't track your location, we don't sell your information, we don't use advertising trackers, and we only collect what's actually needed to run the app.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored using one-way hashing; we never see or store your password in plain text) when you or your company creates an account.
- Company & team information — your company's name and the team members you invite, along with each user's assigned role.
- Customer & report information — names, service addresses, and job details that you or your team choose to enter in order to prepare a report, plus the PDF reports generated from that information. This is information you provide about your own customers; we don't gather it from any other source.
- Waitlist information — if you sign up for early access, we collect your name, email, and anything you tell us about how you'd use Green Meadows, so we can reach out.
Information we do not collect
- We do not track your device's GPS or physical location.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or cookies to follow you across other sites or apps.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
- We do not access your photos, contacts, or other device data beyond what you explicitly attach to a report.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Operate the app — authenticate you, generate and store your reports, and keep your customer records organized.
- Communicate with you about your account, or let you know when a waitlist spot opens up.
- Keep the service secure and troubleshoot problems.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles.
Where your data lives
Account data and report files are stored with reputable cloud storage providers (or locally, depending on how your company's plan is configured) and sit behind authentication. Access is limited to your own company's users.
Cookies & sessions
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account or company data deleted, reach out using the form below and mention what you'd like removed — we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
Green Meadows is a business tool for landscaping companies and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let account holders know directly.
